Enric Sòria

Barcelona, 1937. Having qualified as an architect from the Barcelona School of Architecture (ETSAB), Enric Soria joined its teaching faculty. He has also taught at ELISAVA and La Salle Campus Barcelona.

He is the author of distinguished architectural and urban projects in Barcelona, such as the Picasso Museum, the Science Museum, the IMAX cinema in Port Vell, the Mercat del Born refurbishment and the planning of Calle Tarragona; as well as the Eix Macià plan (Sabadell) and the Museum of Navarra (Pamplona). He has also authored various design objects and several books. He and Jordi Garcés were associate partners from 1970 to 1995, during which period they designed the Sylvestrina lamp, re-edited today by Santa & Cole.
