This cabinet made of precious maple wood enchants the eye, exhilarates the touch and, with the woody scent that is released whenever its doors are opened, even stimulates our sense of smell. As an ellipse cut in half, leaning against a wall, it is sinuous and generous. The sculptural and textural top is handcrafted through the carving technique, while the doors contrast with the top due to their “shimmering” effect created by a mirror lacquering in indigo and magenta colors. Inside the cabinet features a crystal shelf on which the objects stored float in a surprising suspension. The lighting and the casket-effect generate a feeling of magical wonder.
